    The Librarian Review

This week I listened to The Librarian by Christy Sloat. I’ve been slacking on reading when I get home from work during the week. So, this week I decided to listen to a book at work. Usually I listen to music while I do my work, but I logged into my local library website and picked a book to listen to. My library uses hoopla as their streaming service and I don’t have to pay for it, because of my library card! How awesome is that? I am so happy I did this, I needed to get myself back into the reading. Since the new year I haven’t finished a…

    My Current Netflix Binge

When I was doing my research on the bullet journal I decided to do this month, I saw that a lot of people liked to put what they were watching or wanted to watch on Netflix, or Netfli Binge! I thought that was a very interesting idea. Last year I would get upset with myself when I watched too much Netflix. I would tell myself that I should be reading or writing… doing something productive for my blog instead of wasting time. But, I love binge watching Netflix… and Hulu! So… Instead of getting upset with myself over what I should be doing for my blog instead of watching tv,…

I think I am going to start a bullet journal this year… Well, I am starting one, but I think (hope) I’m going to use it throughout the year and not give up on it. I’ve heard some good things about keeping a bullet journal. And you can make it colorful, I’m all for color coordinating things. I want to use it for my blog, for my writing, for my personal budget, my reading, health… Everything A bullet journal can be used for everything right? Here are some ideas I have for my journal: Bullet Journal Idea 1: Books read My goal is to read 50 books this year, but…

    Fangirl Review

I started reading Fangirl on Saturday (12/29) night, here’s my Fangirl Review. As part of my new review process, I’m going to write down how I feel about the book each time I close the book. Saturday night I got to chapter 8. My current thoughts: Not 100% impressed just yet. I don’t know what it is but I couldn’t bring myself to get that into it. I’ve heard nothing but great things about this book… So maybe my expectations were a little too high. But I’m not even 100 pages in yet, so I don’t want to say anything definitive just yet. Fangirl Review: Sunday Did not pick up…

    Writing Prompts

Hello All I apologize for being MIA this past week.  At my day job everyone was on from out of town and we had meetings and went out to lunch everyday and had our company Christmas party, and even went out to dinner one night… So, I was a bit exhausted every day after work and I just didn’t spend any time on my blog.  Today I have a list of writing prompts to share with you.  It’s not a very long list, but I think there are some pretty great prompts.  and then later this week I’ll have my Owlcrate unboxing video for the month of December.  Let’s get…

    Book Club Picks 2018

I decided to do a quick list of this year’s book club picks from the two book clubs that I follow on Instagram. There are so many book clubs out there, and one of my goals to start following more next year. I’ve really been slacking on Instagram these past couple months, but I hope to get back into it in 2019 because everyone is so inspiring on Insta! But currently I only follow two book clubs: Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine and Belletrist with Emma Roberts and Karah Preiss Today I want to share what their book club book pics were for this past year. Even if you don’t read…
